About

Hi I'm Nate! I'm an amateur producer, have been into the BGM/sound design business for about 3 years and I love my job :)I've been surrounded by musical influence my entire life. I started playing piano at the age of 5 and violin at 9. Ever since then, music has been the inspiration and quite frankly, my livelihood. I didn't get into producing until about 2 years into college, which is why I say I'm still starting out, but despite that, I consider myself blessed to have started now rather than later. My first time opening commissions was pretty intimidating, but now that I've got the hang of things, I'm overjoyed to say that I am going to stay open for business for a long time!I am willing to cover and produce basically every single genre there is, but my main expertise is in electronic/pop/anime music. Don't worry though, if you end up commissioning me, we can talk about what you want me to make and we can go from there!

In order to keep the process as concise and efficient as possible, please take note of and abide by these Terms of Service:

All prices will be listed in USD. Payments can be made through any of the following platforms:

Pricing varies based on request complexity.
A minimum deposit of 50% of the total is required for me to start your commission. If you wish, you may pay for the entire commission up front, no hassle.
Each commission usually takes a minimum of 5-7 days. If you need a rush commission, please include such information in the application form, under the "Is there anything else you'd like me to know?" question.
Projects are accepted on a case by case basis, depending on what you want your request to include. Contact me so we can discuss the details.

Make sure to credit me and link to my twitter wherever you use the audio.
I reserve the rights to the final version of the audio (though I will not post the audio on any platforms until you release it yourself).

IN CASE OF REFUNDS:
On works that I have already started (and given a WIP), whether I cannot complete it by the given deadline, or for any other reason whatsoever, I will provide a 50% refund of whatever amount you have given me at the time.
On works I have not started yet, you will receive a full refund.

Tip for seamless looping playback:
If you are using an audio playback software and hear a slight pause in your track before it loops again, I recommend using Audacity for playback instead and utilizing the “Loop Play” function.

Getting started

FOR BGM COMMISSIONS:
You tell me these things, and I’ll work with you to get it done:
-What kind(s) of commission you want (you can choose from Intro, Outro, or BGM - each one is separate cost but discounted for each on top of the first)
-recommended at least 3 references for music, but only 1 required
-how long you want the piece to be
-What instruments you might want
-the overall mood and genre you want the piece to be
-any foreseeable deadlines (close or far)
- some other small details you might want me to knowI’d personally recommend going for around 1:30 for BGMs and 1:00 for intros and outros. (Intros and outros in this context are specifically for Youtube videos that may be published. If you are looking for a general purpose pre-stream and post-stream music, then I'd recommend 1:00-1:30 for those.)

FOR MIXING/MASTERING COMMISSIONS:
-email me all the stems (individual audio tracks) either in the email itself or just a google drive/box/online storage link, doesn’t matter
-so I can import them into my software and freely work on it
-mixing shouldn’t take long, so minimum turnaround time is maybe 3 days depending on my schedule

Pricing

COMMISSION WINDOW #6: April 1, 2023 - (ongoing)*All tracks will be made with the intention to loop, unless stated otherwise.__Rates (BGM (Just Chatting/General Purpose), BRB, Intro, Outro):__
$90 USD for first 30 seconds, +$55
USD for every extra 30 seconds past the firstRates (Mixing, Mastering):
1-10 stems - $10 per track
11-25 stems - $15 per track
+10$ per voice trackRates (Alerts, Stinger Tracks):
$25 per alert, paid in full if under 5 alerts are commissionedRates (Lore Videos, Sound Design):

1:30 BGM, 1:00 BRB, 1:00 Intro, 1:00 Outro, 5 alertsIf you commission more than one track, a 10% discount to the total cost will be added to your purchase. Payments will be charged on a track by track basis.
